Ok so i think this might be cheating BUT Im doing it anyway because its my blog and Emma keeps kicking out these books so damn quickly I think a bigger review for the first 3 books from this AMAZING series will work just fine. So Angela told me all about this book she had read as an alpha/beta and that if i get the chance i should sign up for the ARC as i would definitely enjoy reading it. Ok. There may have been some begging on my part too because she wouldn’t shut up about it.

Emma kindly sent me the first book, after what felt like months of begging (it was like 3 days) and BOY i was not ready for the onslaught of feels from an MC romance book. Jeez Louise. She put my heart through the wringer and i still havent recovered. The first book is called lost soul. We meet Jesse he has been part of the dirty souls MC for most of his life, seeing Jimmer carson, the president, like a father figure he never had, and his daughter hayley just like his sister.

Hayley was born and raised around the dirty souls, knowing how the club worked as well as how the other members saw her as untouchable. But she was in love with Jesse, hoping that one day he would see her for her. He would see her as his old lady. Never once telling him how she felt, instead writing all of it down in letters she never sent. Needing help getting information on one of hayleys classmates has jesse meeting Maddy, knowing he couldn’t have her just made him want her more.

Rival MCs ruined everything for hayley though. Taking her life in front of her father and jesse. Jesse wants revenge. But also wants to keep Maddy safe, knowing how much Hayley had gotten close to her. Trying to protect her and fighting against wanting to kill the person who took Hayleys life has Jesse spiralling.

More twists in this first book has the club chasing one of their own for to bring them to justice. Gah. My heart HURT so much at the end of this but man what a ride it was. I love how the story doesnt end and a new one starts with the next book, yes you have a new couple with each book but the hunt of the ex club member is still in each book.

So the next book is called Reckless soul and its now Nyx’s story and boy, Emma doesn’t hold back with this either. Having a rough start in the world Nyx sees one of the dirty souls coming to his rescue when the children’s home he is living in doesn’t sort out the issue on Nyx been bullied. He decides that when he could he would find out who this guy was, the only way he can do this is to find and become a dirty soul. Fast forward to now he is almost a member of the dirty souls but is still no closer to finding out who saved him that night. Jimmer choses him to get close to a girl. Ella jackson isn’t just any girl though she means something to Jimmer, but they also need information about her father. Of course as soon as he sees her, he wants her. He want her to be his. He protects her as much as he can yet cant stop himself getting close to her.

Ella is from a completely different world than Nyx, she has had everything she ever wanted. a picture perfect family, to the outside world anyway. Her father is strict, her mother allows him to treat her like dirt. All to be able to keep the life they live now. When Nyx comes into her life she doesn’t know how to feel but she always feel safe around him.

So Nyx. how on earth Jimmer didn’t kill him when he found out that he had fallen for Ella i do not know but he must have seen something in the way they were with each other that it wasn’t just a fling. I love Nyx yes he didn’t have the family life that most people have but he finds his own family in the dirty souls MC they do anything and everything to look after each other.

Ella. Bless her, her whole life that she grew up knowing ends been a lie yet she is able to adjust so well to her new life and i love it for her. She is finally happy and safe, not worried that a mistake will cause her father to beat her. Emma did an amazing job with this story but let me tell you, vengeful soul just takes it to the next level.

So up next is Vengeful soul. Brax. You meet him as a side character in Reckless soul. He is a nomad, floating between different clubs but never actually been a full member at any one place. But the more he spends time with the dirty souls the more he craves vengeance against the same ex member the rest of the club are hunting yet for completely different reasons. Again in comes Jimmer needing his help to find and protect a girl. Without the rest of the club knowing and not really telling Brax why this girl needs protecting.

Grace after losing her parents in a car crash she has to come to terms that she is now without her family in this world. Leaning heavily on her fiance to get her through this, she is then taken by Brax, no reason why, he isnt hurting her but refuses to answer why he has taken her. All she knows is eventually her fiance will find her, he wouldnt not report this to the police, would he?

This story has you sitting on the edge of your seats especially when Brax is within touching distance of been able to get his revenge on the man that ruined his life. But instead of thinking about himself which is what he has done for his entire life he makes a decision to think about others, ella, skid, nyx and the rest of the club. I honestly love this book so much, this whole series is just getting better and better. I cant wait for the next book but then that also means we will be one book closer to the end of the series and i dont think im mentally prepared for that.

Wow Wow Wow. So this is the third book of the rebels of sandland series, and its just as amazing as the first two. This story is Finns and Effy’s story, its been the one i have been most looking forward to but also a little scared about, as you could tell that Finns story wouldn’t be all rainbows and sunshine. He had a back story that was going to gut you. So obviously i wanted to read as soon as i could too.

Like i said this story isn’t pretty. Finn has kept a secret from his friends for as long as he has known them, Brandon knows something happened to him but he doesn’t know the full extent. Finn keeps himself mostly to himself, not relying on his family or his friends for anything. The only person he will ever trust with anything is his sister Alice. Their childhood is not something they think about or talk about but Finn feels guilt every single day.

When someone from their past comes back it sets the wheels in motion for a rival gang from the next town over to start blackmailing Finn getting him to do things for them, in exchange for their silence. While all this is going on finn is also trying to fix things with Effy.

Effy loves finn, she has always loved him from afar but never thought that he even saw her. But he did, he saw her more than most people ever saw her. They eventually manage to get themselves on the right track together. But Finn doesnt feel like he is good enough for her and doesnt reveal his secrets.

Obviously like the other books in this series they do end in a HEA but man Nikki likes to drag you through the pain and emotions before you get it. She pulls you in with a gripping story, holds you in with the familiarity of the characters, keeps you there because it feels like family it feels like you know every single character, like their story is a story that you know so well. I cant wait for the rest of this series. To be back with this group of friends, to see them going through the struggles and still come out better and stronger at the end of it.

Definitely worth a read.

Good GOD woman. I know I say this a lot about authors but I truly mean it. Anytime they write something new it gets better and better than what they have written previously. Anna is no exception to this. Last kiss damn near killed me off.

From the very first chapter she has your heart racing, your emotions running wild. But at the same time he grips you tight and refuses to let you go. She refuses to let you leave the world that is Julia and Henri.

Julia meets Henri just when she had been given the worst news imaginable. Just when she has been told the life she knows is going to completely change forever. So she throws caution to the wind and says one night no real names. She was going to try and live her life to the fullest before she cant.

But damn. Fate and the universe has a twisted way of telling her ‘nope not one night’ by having her bump into her a couple more times. Refusing to let her body fail her, she allows Henri to show her how much of the world she has been missing out on while not living life to the full. They make promises to each other, not knowing that by the end they will have broken every single one of their promises. They fall hard, their complicated love story has you wishing for your very own Henri to come in and sweep you off your feet, to show you what love really feels like, to experience the world how it should be experienced. Without a care in the world.

God damnit Anna. My heart my poor broken heart. You twisted evil genius. reading this book was like watching your friend finally get her HEA. You route for Julia from the get go, but you also feel for Henri, he has his reasons for not wanting to fall in love, different reasons than Julia, but he fights, he fights so much for her. Believing its fate their paths crossed when they did, and when they keep crossing. *sigh* I loved it.

This is definitely one of those books you wish you could read for the very first time again. To feel all the feels again, to fall in love with the characters again. To just start that very first line again and be devoured all over again. Honestly. some wipe my memory so i can do this, please.

So this is Sharons debut novel, i loved it. I mean who doesn’t love a rock star romance. This was a little bit different than the usual Rockstar fall in love with a roadie on tour and has to keep it quiet but it was still a great read.

Melody is a single girl, helping her friend out with raising her little boy, she would do anything for her friend. That includes standing in for her at a photo shoot when her friend fall ill. She didn’t expect it to actually be the filming of the rockstar band guilty pleasures new music video. And she certainly didn’t expect to be up close and personal with the lead singer Logan in what can only be described as the hottest scene ever to be filmed. Obviously Logan loved every minute of it, but only they know how real that scene was. Hoping that he may see her again to re-enact it all again. He doesn’t think it would be when he is out with his son, thinking she is some crazy stalker he shouts at her telling her to leave him and his family alone. Not realising that his son is best friends with her friends son.

There are quite a few twists and turns in this story, which i loved as you couldn’t tell which way the story was going to go next. a Beautifully written story especially for a debut novel. I cant wait to see more from the guilty pleasure men.

Let me start by saying this story is now embedded in my soul and my mind. Having read the shorter version of this story, I spoke to sienna asking no wait telling her that I hoped and prayed that this story would be extended. Which lead to us going back and forth through the book to which now I am almost certain I know it word for word. I’m probably biased when i say how utterly brilliant this book is BUT I’m still going to say it. THIS BOOK IS AWESOME!!!

Roman Dean is on the path to become the next big thing. He has everything he could ever want, his career is on the up and he ha women falling at his feet everywhere he goes. But his recent antics are making his agency unhappy with his image so they bring in a publicist to help clean up his image ready for him to take the USA by storm. Never in a million years did he expect his publicist to be none other than Paisley Kennedy. The girl from high school that his best mate Gavin used to take the mick out of, because she wasn’t like all the other girls. She wasn’t popular. So in Gavin’s eyes she was an easy target.

The girl stood in front of Roman now though has blossomed into a gorgeous woman and all he can think about is how much he wants her.

Paisley Kennedy was always a quiet girl at school, never really wanted to be like all the other girls, she kept her head down but always seemed to attract unwanted attention from Gavin and Roman and the other guys, constantly bullying her for the way she looked. Since leaving school she reinvented herself to how she looked now. Standing in front of Roman Dean just takes her back to feeling like she wasn’t good enough. Like she wasnt worth the love or attention from anyone.

Roman Roman Roman. First starting off trying to just get paisley into bed he soon starts to realise she is everything he ever wanted. the one thing stopping him was her insecurities. She thinks she doesn’t deserve him, with Gavin whispering in her ear telling her how much it was all a joke to Roman. He has a fight on his hands to make her believe that he wants her and only her.

I loved this book, like i said at the top, this book is embedded in my soul forever now. Yes i saw it in it rawest form but to see sienna putting the ideas we had in to an actual book and bring it to life was amazing.

Now let me start with saying that I love everything Jen writes as she knows how to make your heart race and she knows how to make the feels really hurt. With this book its different, its wrote different, it feels different BUT its still a Jen book. She still grabs those feelings out of you making you cry making you laugh just making you feel everything on every single page. Its more believable, i mean i wish i could meet a Rockstar that falls madly in love with me but i haven’t, where this starts off when Alessa is just 14 and you follow her falling in love for the first time and you see her going through a lot of firsts with her boyfriend.

But true to Jen, the story isn’t all happy fluffy things, lots of things happen to make them drift apart, to make them not able to trust each other, to lose their first loves from mistakes that should never have been made. The side characters too they may only be side characters but they play a vital role in the story that needed to be told. I cried at so many parts in them as they were so well written you forget its a story and you feel like its someone you know going through it. Don’t get me wrong there were some funny bits too.

Its a beautifully raw story, stripped back just to the bare bones of Alessa’s story, yes she doesn’t have the best choices but she knows this and she owns them too. She tries to not let them define her.

The one thing I will say, is read with an open mind!

Gahhhhhh!

So we finally FINALLY got the second book in this amazing duet after that CLIFFHANGER in the other side of blue. (Book 1) if you haven’t read the other side of blue there will be spoilers so i suggest you stop reading this.

So at the end of the first book e got hit with that cliffhanger….. where luca told lyra that not only was jack the boy they grew up with but he was actually her brother. A secret that Luca has known for years but never told anyone. Oh yea and he just so happened to tell her when she had found out her Gran had died too. So after years of pining for jack, her blue, her whole life is turned up side down.

GAH!! Anna. I love her writing, she never goes the way you expect her to go. There is always a twist that you will not see coming. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Of course this duet was no exception. Obviously I dont want to be spoiling all of it for you but WOW. Every single page was full of an amazing story line.

Lyra goes through so much in her life that i am surprised that she doesn’t just give up completely. From when she first fell in love with jack, playing her music to drown out the screams and shouts from his house. To then losing the ability to play music when Jack left and broke her heart. To finally be reunited with Jack only to be stuck with a situation worse than she could have ever imagined, but she is so much stronger than she ever thought possible.

Jack. Blue. *sigh* I’m not even sure how to explain to love I have for him without sounding crazy but here goes. He is goals right there, he is willing to lose everything for the woman he loves, to prove that she is worth it too. He didn’t have the best childhood, and he didn’t have much going for him but damn he would literally change his whole life just to make Lyra happy.

Gah! This duet! Was *chefs kiss* amazing, the side characters too. Eva and Alex showing Lyra she was deserving of having friends who actually cared about her. Evan, always wanting to help jack. I LOVE IT ALL!!

Now to wait patiently for the paperbacks to be released.

Brett. Brett. Brett. This man. He is rushless but my god, when he is around his daughter he is perfection!

So you meet Brett a little in Vow of revenge (also an amazing book) so obviously when I heard he was getting his own story I couldn’t wait, autumn do NOT disappoint either. He is raising his daughter on his own. With the occasional visit from her absentee mother, they do pretty well as a little team. That is until she disappears again. And instead of appearing months later, Raen comes.

Raen is his daughters aunt. Or so she claims. As well as claiming that his daughters mother has been murdered, and the same fate will happen to her if he doesn’t help her escape. Not wanting to bring all this to his front door, he helps her. Or at least tries to.

He ends up finding out that his daughters mother was in a dark world deeper than he could’ve imagined so wants to protect Raen and of course his daughter.

This story had me gripped from the start Autumn has a way of writing in such detail that you can’t help but feel you are right in the scene as it’s unfolding. She writes so well in the dark world. Which is why I am always so obsessed with her work. Because who doesn’t love a bit of the dark side in their lives. These two were probably in any other world the least likely to be together but the chemistry between them is undeniable. All Raen wanted was help to escape the world that killed her sister. But she ends up bagging one of the hottest guys in Dublin (yes I am fully aware it’s not real WHY CANT IT BE REAL)

I loved everything about it, the twists and turns. The angst the emotion. Everything. my heart has probably just about returned to normal beats now. But this story will stay with me a lot longer.

Ok so now I have claimed Lorenzo as mine, I am now going to tell you how amazing this book is. Abigail had been dropping hints anytime i spoke to her about this book she was writing. I was so excited when i FINALLY got the arc on my kindle. Lorenzo. *sigh* he is so hot, there isnt enough words to describe how hot he is and thats just because he is a mafia boss.

Lorenzo was born into the world of mafia and from as long as he could remember he has been getting ready to take over from his father as boss, but he wasn’t prepared for the day to come so soon. There are rules though, rules he has to follow before he can take his rightful spot as mafia boss. The biggest rule that is going to be the hardest to do is the one that says he has to be married before he can take over. He searches through options of women but none of them live up to the image he has in his head for what he wants his wife to be. Someone quiet and unassuming that just fades into the background. Then he meets her, he meets Aida.

Aida has a quiet life, she helps out with her family’s business while going to college. Her whole life revolves around her family and she would do anything for them. So when lorenzo comes and offers her and her family a lot of money for her to marry him. She doesn’t think twice to say yes. Obviously this marriage is going to be rainbows and sunflowers. Its only a marriage on paper. This doesnt stop Aida trying to make things more homely, she tries to the best wife she can be, even if its not real.

Man oh man. These two are HOT together. Lorenzo doesn’t accept it at first that they could be more than just a business arrangement. So he tries to keep her at a distance. But obviously there is no stopping these two getting together when their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS. The twists in this were great. In true Abigail style she throws in a twist you kind of expect then BAM twists it even more. I loved it, i loved the mafia story. Seeing Lorenzo as the boss then seeing Lorenzo as the man who loves his family so fiercely that he would show them his true self to them and only them. GAH

*chefs kiss* this story is amazing. I cant wait for more in the series, because you know she isnt going to do just one of these books, she is going to throw out more AND I AM HERE FOR IT!

I want to live in wilder world and make sandwiches EVERY DAY. Damn Nina why have you got to do this to me. NO MAN WILL EVER BE JUSTIN MILLER. All I am asking for is Country biker men to be real? is that too much to ask?

Something I will never tire of is reading Nina’s MC storm series. Ok yes the men are alpha assholes, that use their fists to do the talking BUT when they love their women they love them hard and all consuming. Wilder just topped the scales on what he will do for his woman.

He had a great childhood, his parents loved each other and their 3 kids. His parents showed him how to love and to accept things in life too. Wilder knew he wanted to be able to give a woman the love he saw his parents giving out. He wanted the family he wanted the refrigerator door full of memories just like his childhood home. He knew it would have to be someone special too.

Scarlett. Well she did not have the great childhood that wilder had, she had to protect her brother and sister from as much as she could, when her dad left, her mum chose drink and drugs. And everything that came along with that life. Her mum introduced them to a world that no child should ever have to experience. Scarlett does what she could to protect herself from hurt, by putting up a wall that no one could break. Well thats what she thought until she met the girl squad. These were the old ladies of the MC crew. She tries to keep them at arms length but they have a sneaky way of getting under your skin.

Wilder doesn’t see it at first. He doesn’t see how amazing Scarlett is until a passing comment from a drunken Harlow has him all twisted. He starts to see that the prickliness between him and Scarlett is actually tension. Gah these two. I love LOVE LOVE the conversations between them, Scarlett is so sassy and wilder just takes all the verbal hits she throws at him and just deals with it. He has a way of knowing what she needs without her having to say ANYTHING. He knows when to push her forward BUT HE ALSO KNOWS WHEN SHE WANTS A HUG. GOD. this man is perfection.

The girl squad need a special mention though. They are LIFE. They are a typical girl squad, want to know everything you are thinking while getting drunk or having their hair done. But man they have your back anytime you need them and even sometimes when you don’t want them. They know what you want even before you have even realised. THEY ARE THE BEST THING YOU CAN EVER HAVE IN YOUR LIFE.

Gah. Nina. You are an amazing writer. I love this series. FOREVER.
